We inspect shared pools at apartment complexes, hotels and body corporate properties across the Gold Coast. Shared-pool certificates are valid for one year, and committees get everything in writing for their records.

The barrier must be at least 1200mm high with no gaps over 100mm. Gates must open away from the pool and self-close and self-latch from any position, with the latch at least 150mm below the top. Climbable objects must be clear of the 900mm non-climbable zone, and windows opening into the pool area are restricted. It's a long list, which is why we check 100+ points.
