I needed an immediate pool safety certification to put a house up for sale at Elanora... I emailed Poolinspec late at night and Rob came and did it promptly the following day.

Our mission
Our mission: safer Gold Coast pools.
Poolinspec exists for one reason. We want every pool on the Gold Coast to be safe for the people who swim in it. A compliant barrier does its job in the moment no one is watching. That is why the rules exist, and why Rob checks every one.
No matter how simple or complicated your pool layout is, we'll get it safe. Rob checks more than 100 safety points on every visit. Each issue comes with a clear fix, and we walk you through the report step by step.
A pool safety certificate can never replace supervising your children around the pool. It is there for the times you most need the pool to be safe.
Our history
20 years building pool fences. Now Rob inspects them.
Rob holds a bachelor degree in building. He then spent 20 years in the design and manufacture of balustrades, staircases and pool fencing. He knows how a gate is hung, how a latch is set and how a glass panel is fixed. So when something fails, Rob knows why. He also knows the smallest fix that will pass.
Today Rob is a QBCC licensed pool safety inspector, licence PS15139710. He trained under 10660NAT, the national course in swimming pool safety inspections. He inspects every pool himself.
Poolinspec is a family business based in Burleigh Waters. Sandra Blackbeard runs our marketing and administration. She brings almost ten years in pool safety fencing products of her own.
Why Gold Coast pool owners book Rob
- Licensed and insured. QBCC licence PS15139710, trained under 10660NAT, with professional indemnity cover.
- On time for your deadline. Rob is usually on site within 24 hours of your call. Compliant pools get their certificate the same day.
- Repairs sorted. Rob fixes minor faults like latches, hinges and climbable objects himself. Anything bigger is quoted upfront.
- One inspector, start to finish. Rob inspects your pool, explains the report and issues the certificate.
Rob built pool fences for 20 years. Now he checks yours.
